SOPHIE'S PLAN:
Entry Health and Essential Drug
Sophie has been covered under her parents' plan but, now that's she's 22, she's getting her own plan. She takes advantage of the 60-day window to move from her parents' personal health plan to her own Complete Health plan without having to answer medical questions.
She's looking for an affordable plan with drug coverage. She chooses Entry Health with Essential Drug coverage.
PATRICK'S PLAN:
Complete Health, Enhanced Drug and Guaranteed Acceptance
Patrick has been covered under his employer-sponsored plan but is now planning for his retirement. He’s kept himself in good health but wants to make sure his wife—who struggles with COPD—has the protection she needs.
For himself, Patrick chooses an Complete Health plan with Essential Health with Enhanced Drug coverage. To avoid having to answer medical questions about her pre-existing condition, Patrick’s wife chooses our Guaranteed Acceptance plan. Coverage under this plan includes expenses related to her pre-existing conditions.
SIMON'S PLAN:
Essential Health, Essential Dental and Essential Drugs
Simon's a pretty healthy guy and wants to take advantage of his current health to secure the best plan he can get within his existing budget. He chooses an Complete Health plan with Essential Health module, Essential Dental and Essential Drugs.
He's planning to get married next year and can add his partner to his plan without medical underwriting. Also because Complete Health lets you upgrade your plan on key life events like marriage, Simon can move up to Enhanced Health and Enhanced Drugs—again, without medical underwriting.
ALEX AND AUDREY'S PLAN:
Enhanced Health, Enhanced Drugs, Enhanced Dental and Critical Illness
Alex and Audrey have a three-year-old and another on the way. They'd like the comprehensive coverage of an Complete Health plan and want to plan for the future inevitables... like antibiotics and braces. They take an annual family vacation and often take road trips in the summer, so they choose Enhanced Health module for the travel coverage it includes. They go with Enhanced Drugs and opt for Enhanced Dental, which will cover orthodontic treatment for their kids.
They also add on the Critical Illness module, so their living expenses won't be a concern in the event one of them develops a devastating illness.
SYLVIE'S PLAN:
Enhanced Health, Essential Drug and Annual Travel
At 66, Sylvie is recently retired. She’s looking forward to travelling but still wants a plan that safeguards her health and any future issues she might have to face. She chooses Enhanced Health and combines this with Essential Drug coverage, which will help her cover costs for her current and future medication.
Sylvie also has a bucket list that includes visiting 15 countries. She knows the cost of getting ill in a foreign country can be astronomical. To protect herself and follow her dreams, she also gets an annual travel plan that will cover her year-round on her adventures.
NATALIE'S PLAN:
Guaranteed Acceptance
Natalie has been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and chronic back pain—long-term conditions that unfortunately come with several prescriptions and requirements for medical supplies and the services of health care specialists like massage therapists. She's worried that her pre-existing conditions will prevent her from qualifying for a plan like Complete Health, where she would have to answer medical questions. She chooses our Guaranteed Acceptance plan. Although there are annual maximums for her medications and treatments, coverage under her plan includes expenses for her pre-existing conditions.
BEN'S PLAN:
Individual Dental and Annual Travel
Ben has group health coverage under his employer's plan—but, he's missing dental coverage, and those costs can add up. He chooses the standalone Individual Dental Plan to supplement his group plan with coverage for preventive, restorative and surgical services, and more. He also loves to travel—and after a close call on a scooter down south last year, he wants to make sure he's got appropriate coverage. He opts for an annual travel plan—one purchase for worry-free year-round coverage.
