He co-authored Canada’s clinical obesity guidelines and co-chairs the Global Obesity Patient Alliance.

As CEO of Medavie, Bernard Lord provides strategic leadership for Medavie Blue Cross, Medavie Health Services and Medavie Foundation to improve the wellbeing of Canadians. He is currently the Chair of the International Federation of Health Plans, and the current past Chair of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association.

Tara leads the evolution of the company’s client value proposition. She brings over 25 years of expertise in benefit plan design, insurance contracts, and drug plan management to her role. Previously, she served as a Principal at Mercer in Halifax.
