Michael Decter, Chair of the Board of Directors of Medavie, is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Kudzman to the Board.
“On behalf of Medavie, I am delighted to welcome Susan to the Board,” said Decter. “Her depth of experience and expertise will be invaluable to our organization as we continue to grow and evolve as a leading health solutions partner,” he added.
Susan is a seasoned specialist in risk management and human resources with over 30 years of experience. Most recently, she held the role of Executive Vice-President, Chief Risk Officer and Corporate Affairs at Laurentian Bank of Canada where she supervised risk management, credit management, legal affairs, compliance and human resources. She previously served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Risk Officer at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences and the titles of Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Certified Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA). She is Chair of the Board of Directors of Yellow Pages Limited and is a member of the Board of Transat A.T. Inc. Susan is also involved in many community and philanthropic activities including as Vice-Chair of the Board of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation.

Susan joins Karen Cramm, Michael Decter, Dr. Myrna Francis, Robert Ghiz, Edward Barrett, Ed Martin, Bernard Lord, Kelly Nelson, Marian Walsh, Kim West and Mike Wilson as the newest member of the Medavie Board of Directors.
