Please note that there has been an update to the cholesterol question in our Health Declaration C. Moving forward, your clients can answer “yes” to question 13a (8a on the info-partners.ca website) if there has been a decrease of dosage in the last 12 months or if the dosage remained the same. However, if there was an increase of dosage in their cholesterol medication, your clients must answer “no”.
Clients will no longer pay a higher premium if the dosage to their cholesterol medication was decreased in the last 12 months. This change has no impact on clients’ coverage.
As advised in our previous communication, adjusted rates came into effect on March 5. Below is a table outlining the increase breakdown.
Please note that due to an implementation delay regarding the Visitors to Canada rate adjustment, the Visitor to Canada 7% increase will take effect in early April.
There is no rate change to Trip Cancellation or Interruption and Emergency Medical Care in Canada coverage.
