To continue to provide our clients with quality service around the world, we are adjusting the premiums for Emergency Medical Care coverage and Visitors to Canada plan. The new rates will be effective March 5, 2024.
Several factors have contributed to this increase, including the growing number of claims and the rising cost of healthcare worldwide.
Below is a table outlining the increase breakdown.
There is no rate change to Trip Cancellation or Interruption and Emergency Medical Care in Canada coverage.
Existing quotes will need to be reviewed to make sure that they meet the new health declaration requirements. Quotes saved before March 5th will not be honored.
You will find a helpful guide on these changes on the Agent Microsite here.
New versions of all travel insurance policies and health declarations will be available as of March 5th, 2024.
We are pleased to advise that our current Partner’s Guide will be available in a digital format in the near future! This digital resource will continue to be your tool for all the ins and outs of selling Blue Cross Travel Insurance.
