Connected Care - New Member Guide Now Available


We are pleased to provide a new Connected Care Member Guide to showcase the expanded suite of innovative healthcare-services available through our virtual health and wellness centre. The guide can be found on the Individual Agent Microsite.

New Rates Effective January 1, 2025 for Individual Business

Please note that the rates for the Guaranteed Acceptance Health Plan will receive an increase ranging from 1.7% to 2.4% and the Retiree Health Plan will increase by 9.4% as of January 1, 2025.

Please note that the Stand Alone Hospital rates have been updated in the Complete Plan rate guide. All other rates remain unchanged.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month

Members diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes have access to specially trained health coaches and digital tools to take charge of their health. Our 360 Total Care program, for example, provides one-on-one counselling, a glucose monitoring tool and home-delivered test strips to help members self-manage diabetes. The program is part of our comprehensive Connected Care service package.

Members can check these and other services covered by their plan on the Member Services Site or the Blue Cross Mobile app.

The next quarterly individual newsletter will be shared with all individual plan members including broker clients in early December. See the Winter edition here.

This edition focuses on tips for staying healthy this winter, information on exclusive discounts through the Blue Advantage program, and a reminder on how members can access their annual premium statements. We are also providing additional details on some of the health and wellness services provided through Connected Care.
